Franke : FF200 Value Line Pull-Out Faucet with Sprayhead - Polished Chrome Review

We bought two of these faucets for our home and an apartment 3 years ago. I am now replacing both.

My comments:

Though Franke claims all brass, the shower head is "all" plastic.

The lock button on top of the shower head is impossible to use if your hands are wet. It is a truly stupid design.

The regulator handle on both units need too much pressure to control and are not smooth in operation. As a result, it is very difficult to get the flow we're looking for.We resort to nudges and beating it gently to adjust water flow.

On one faucet, it is very difficult to move the head side to side. It has binded and dismantling it shows no apparent problems and oiling it did no good.

The other faucet recently started to leak.

The prices shown above are both more than we paid from a boutique decorative hardware store.

You can do a lot better elsewhere.

Danze Melrose Pull-out Kitchen Faucet - Oil Rubbed Bronze Review

Looked good at install. Not a week went by before we noticed a nick in the faucet finish - no idea how it got there and it's just my wife and I here. Also noticed finish on soap dispenser worn away when it (naturally) rubs when you push down for soap. After a couple months it got difficult to turn/twist the faucet, then more difficult, then impossible - froze so you can't turn it. We've never had any issues with hard water. Just replaced it with a major brand faucet.

Liberty Hardware P604DA-PC-C Polished Chrome Builder s Program 3" Centers Handle Cabinet Pull from t Review

I ordered these from PullsDirect dot com, the outside web site advertised here on Amazon. As they are advertising through Amazon, I felt secure in ordering from them. We needed simple pulls for a second home we recently acquired and which we are updating. The kitchen cabinets are from the 1960s, all hardwood, however were originally done in a very dark "Spanish Modern" brown with a grooved geometric design in the door faces. We refinished them inbright white enamel (such a difference!) and needed new pulls since the old pulls were a very curly-type ~ horribly ugly ~ Spanish Modern type antiqued metal.

We did not want to spend a small fortune on pulls. Local home centers had similar pulls to these Liberty pulls for around $3 each. We needed 23 of them and I got them all for under $21 (including shipping) from PullsDirect. They each come with four securing screws, and have proven to be "just the thing" to finish the update of the cabinets. They come in several different finishes (we chose the polished chrome) and look much more expensive than what we paid for them (64-cents each).

Even a local surplus center wanted $1 each and more for pulls and none were quite suitable for our project. In addition, PullsDirect has fanrastic Customer Service (I used the Quick Chat several times), and their Customer Service Reps will get on the phone immediately with the manufacturer to answer any questions about the product or about shipping. I experienced absolutely no waiting time for a Custoner Service Rep to get on-line with me.

We will be re-doing other kitcehsns and bathrooms soon (including the ones in our main home) and I will be purchasing all my hardware from PullsDirect. If you purchase $99 or more, they give you free shipping. And they are part of a larger network, Build dot com, which offers such items as lighting and faucets of different types.

I have already picked out a ceiling fixrure for the adjacent dining area of the kitchen we are working on now, from Build dot com, which is $25 with free shipping (a similar light at a local home center is upwards of $50 on-sale and not quite as nice). While they don't carry everything, they have the widest selection of pulls I have ever seen as well as a good selection of other items. This place is definitely worth a look before you spend the time and gasoline driving to home centers (my husband swears the local home centers are buying from these guys and then marking up the prices!). I will post photos here of the pulls we just purchased ~ photos of both before (with the old finish and hardware) and after (with the new white finish and clean and sleek polished chrome hardware).

This is the first time I have ordered from an external web site advertised on Amazon. I would have had misgivings otherwise but because they are advertising on Amazon, felt I could trust them and they would be reliable. Shipping took a little longer then usual as I ordered right before Easter weekend, but they were here a week to the day after I ordered them. Don't be afraid to deal with this company (or their network under Build dot come). If you are planning on purchasing hardware from a local home center, you can probably save a lot of money (I saved over $50 jyst on my small order). And if you have any questions at all about what you feel you would like to order, their Customer Service Reps are quick to respond!

I live in an apartment where I probably am not technically able to install one of these, but I bought it and installed it anyway.I will remove it & take it with me when I leave.But, the original faucet is a cheap POS and this was an "Ultimate Upgrade" to say the least.

I bought this from the discount rack (opened, but NEW item from mrpearl11) for $60.It is awesome.I love the height, giving the ability to get my hands and pots, pans, etc... under it.And, I love the hidden sprayer.It pulls from the spout and is about 28" long when fully extended.

Head has dual sprayers accessed by twisting the nozzle.Head also pivots on the end of the hose so it is a bit easier to use.Finish is great, installation was simple.

Only thing I have a small problem with is when you reinsert the nozzle into the end of the faucet spout it isn't as easy as you would expect.It isn't really hard, by any means, but you have to wiggle it to make sure it seats itself properly.

Schaub 116-VP - Rustica Collection Vibra Pewter Cup Pull, 2-3/4" cc Review

These cup pulls really weren't what I was looking for. I thought they were, but when I got them, I found there was no 'rustica' look about them at all. They were a solid dull-silver color.

However, I had some Goo-Gone lying around(You can google that if interested), and put some on the end of a Q-tip. I then rubbed the creases of the cup pull with the Q-tip, just a little bit, and the silver started coming off so the black could be seen thru it.

They look really good now. Antiquey, but with a modern/Old World feel. I matched these with some smaller, but more expensive drawer pulls, and they look like a set. I searched high and low for drawer pulls with these measurements, that had this look, and wasn't about to send them back.

All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Anne At Home Cabinet Hardware 162 Dolphin Lft Pull Gold Review

I have had a number of the expanding shower rods and they are a pain. The curtain always hangs up at the joint. This rod is a little more difficult to hang but once hung it is the best. I had to cut about 1/4 inch off so it fit. It is like the shower rods you find in hotels. The brushed stainless looks very nice (very much like brushed nickel). You can tell it is built to last. If I have another place to put one of these, I would definately buy another one.

Brass and Sterling Traditional Pull - Set of 4 Review

THE DESCRIPTION (SET OF 4) ON THIS PRODUCT IS INCORRECT!

I saw these handles at Lowes and thought I would see if I could find them cheaper. After searching the net I found this product posting and was overjoyed to find them @ less than half of the Lowes price based on set of 4. I kind of figured this was wrong based on the average price I found on the net and sure enough when I ordered 8 I received a total of 8 pulls, not 32 (4X8). I called Posten's and was told that Amazon had made a mistake on the ad. They offered to refund the money and pay return shipping, then they called back and reduced the price to what they were at Lowes. Took about a week to get it all cleared-up.

End Result - Buy then at Lowes, almost half the price listed on the ad, which is only for 1 pull.

Price Pfister 532-7PZZ Marielle Single-Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet, Oil Rubbed Bronze Review

A very nice faucet that's easy to install. It looks great on our new countertops, and the soap dispenser is elegant. The pull-out sprayer is very nice, but the two settings aren't that different, so I think that's a bit of a shame. Also, the flow is a bit moderate compared to a rip-roaring basic faucet, but it fills a pot fast enough. Might just be how the water comes out that makes it seem less exciting. So, it's very elegant, overall.

Trout Pull Pewter 3" Boring Review

We used these pulls for the top drawer all the way around the kitchen.They look great.For the other pulls I used a standard nickel pull with no decoration, so the trout stand out.

They are well made.The edges aren't sharp, so it there is no 'hurt' to opening the drawers where they are located.

Very elegant fan, crystal base eludes to a much more expensive fan. Works great, looks great, only problem is, be aware to get the intermediate light bulbs for the light system.Had a hard time finding the 60 watt,
ordered them from Amazon.com at a very reasonable price with speedy delivery. Don't use 40 watt, too dark, 60 watt is perfect. Also my electrician stated small lights in the crystal base is very hard to replace when they burn out.Need to remove all blades and the housing unit to replace the small bulbs, so I won't be using the base lights very much.But over all very nice fan with a great look.

My only complaints is that the water pressure is a little lower then I would like and that the sprayer hose is nylon and not stainless (but Danze is not the only manufacturer that does this, many other $400+ faucets that I have put in from Hansghroe also uses the nylon hose)

I have not installed the product yet, but in terms of design, I have to say It is very sleek, nice looking, modern and smooth, looks like it is made of quality materials, however the pull out handle is not made of metal chrome, it is plastic. I would like to fully agree with the previous reviewer about the problems this dishwasher has. We bought this product Feb 28, 2010. And it was installed three days later. It is a beautiful, sleek and modern dishwasher that really brought our kitchen up to date. Plus, it was very quiet, which is a plus because with our old dishwasher you couldn't hear the television if it was on. That all ended approximately two weeks after purchase. It began making loud grinding noises. It was still quieter than our old dishwasher but not by much. A service technician came very quickly but said he found nothing wrong with the dishwasher. Fast forward to today when I go into the kitchen and there is water all over the floor. I called for service and someone will be here 4/20/10. Now despite the grinding noise and the water on the floor it actually cleans the dishes very well. Surprisingly. But I am very upset because this dishwasher is brand new and we have had these problems. I would recommend that people who are researching dishwashers to stay far away from this one. Looks are very deceiving.

Amerock BP1332-O77 3" Fruit Pull Review

I picked up this fruit pull a while back, and have been pleased with its ability to handle just about any load I've hung under it. In my buisness, oddly, fruit, its absolutely necceasry that delicate objects, namely, said fruit, aren't at risk of falling to the floor. My only complaint is that, ergonically, it seems to have been designed for either a righty or a lefty, and my tendinitis would be better served by a more sophisticated fruit pull.

Vaughan-Bushnell BS240P Pull Stroke Handsaw Review

I was doing some remodelling and needed to do surgery and rebuilding of a built-in cupboard.I really didn't want to yank the whole thing out as I thought that would create worse problems.

Neither a circular saw nor a reciprocating saw (and neither would a jig-saw) could get positioned correctly. (and would also make way too rough a cut).

The Bear Saw worked perfectly - I just pencilled in a line and steadily worked along it.Once I was started, I made straight accurate cuts simply by pulling back as hard as I wanted on the saw.The cuts were so smooth you really don't even need to sand.Working at a difficult angle (leaning down and turned sideways) to make a vertical cut wasn't tiring as I simply repeatedly bent and straightened my knees.

I'd practically given up on hand saws but this thing works like an electric coping saw.

After hours of internet research & multiple store visits looking at pre-rinse faucets, I finally decided to purchase this Danze faucet because (1) the few reviews I found were positive, (2) Amazon's price/incentive offer were the best I found & (3) Amazon's free shipping offer.I chose stainless steel only because chrome wouldn't have looked as nice with my countertops.Installation was easy & we've used the faucet for just over 1 month.The coil portion failed last week & we called Danze's customer service department.They were friendly and shipped the part without question; however, I did have to call back to specifically request overnight shipping (otherwise it would have been 3 days).The replacement part was easy to install & the faucet has worked perfectly since (4 days).Even with the faucet breaking within the month, I still love the faucet- it is absolutely a very good looking faucet with a nice weight & feel - and I happily use it every day. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the break.For looks & feel, 5 stars.
As of 11/27/07: Faucet has worked beautifully since the part replacement. It must have been a fluke.We love the faucet & would buy it again.

As of Dec. 2009, this page is dead. There are three links to the InterKnobs external website, none of which reflect this product. InterKnobs is massively overpriced anyway, due to the shipping charges on these tiny little products they sell. The products are not THAT big, heavy, or otherwise worthy of such massive shipping charges. We are being milked for every penny - most of this stuff is cheaper at Lowes and Home Depot than InterKnobs. I purchased this faucet to go with a new stainless steel sink. I was looking for something with a pull out spout and a sleek design. I came across this moen product and liked the way it looked. It was really what i was looking for. What a mistake! The quality of it is not the greatest. The pull out part is made of plastic! Because of that it not only looks cheap but also feels cheap! LDR 950-10503CP Exquisite Single-Handle Kitchen Faucet with Pull-Down Spout Sprayer Review

We got a 900-10503CP "Tuscany (R) Brass Faucet" for $82.99 from Menards to replace a 12 yr old, leaking kitchen faucet. Fittings / couplings are metal - fit snug. DIY installation went smoothly - no surprises. Instructions showed diagrams of 3-Hole installation - ours was Single-Hole installation - lack of diagram presented an initial stumbling block, because I had never done this sort of install before, but by no means a show-stopper. We've had the faucet installed for a week now - works great - very smooth operation, faucet movement is free / not binding or jerky, handle to turn water on/partial/off/hot/warm/cold much smoother and more consistent than original equipment. Based on cost/value, ease of installation, and operation/function to date, I would recommend this model, but be warned, the box label says Made In China, although that was covering a label that said Made In Singapore, so my bet is that it'll be free of the problems that plague products from main-land China.

Some of the doors were uneven and another continually would fall half way out when opened. The pull chain is very short, the manufacturer includes a piece of string which you attach to the chain. Not a very good idea because the string expands when you pull it (my review is 4 stars instead of 5 because of this), luckily I found some chain at a hardware store to replace it.
