Dead On EX8 8-5/8-Inch Exhumer Nail Puller/Saw Wrench/Nail Pic/ Bottle Opener Review

Dead On DO21C-G 21oz Milled Face 19-Inch Curved Graphite Hickory Handle Hammer Review

This is the best hammer that I have owned so far. I have used it for rough framing and demo work and it has never failed to rise to the challenge. It is light and comfortable, so it does not make your hand tired as fast. I have had my hammer for about 6 months and so far so good. I have to keep my eye on it on the work sight to make sure that no one runs off with it. Great Hammer!

I am very happy with my purchase of the Kwikset Juno Venetian Bronze door knobs for my home.I am in the process of replacing all the door knobs in my home with these. What a difference and a quick way to spruce up the look of your home. My home had Kwikset brass knobs originally installed by the builder and after many years they looked dated and worn. The new knobs have drastically cleaned up the look of my home and actually make my doors look new again. I like they have a matte finish to them and are not glossy. They have a low, flat profile and do not stick out like the giant ball shaped brass knobs I replaced.

I purchased several of the passage knobs, dummy knobs, and lock knobs. No problems with install as I was able to easily remove the old ones and replace with these. I chose to go with Kwikset for ease of use since my home already had Kwikset knobs. I did not have to do any cutting of wood, it was an easy swap.

The screw is too short for my drawers so I have to reuse my old screws.I wanted these heavy knobs for old drawers that are difficult to pull open and these provide the strength and bear the weight just as I had hoped. I think washers are needed. I got these for the tactile quality but satin nickel finish is so Y2K; these match my Umbra refrigerator magnets.This is definitely a comfort over style choice.Because of the length, these remind me of pinball machine handles.

Aztec Mission Tiffany-Style Floor Lamp Review

When this lamp arrived, the shade was broken in the corner. Although we thought this indicated the shade was made of glass, it still seemed to feel very much like cheap plastic. The lead piping around the stained glass also seemed to be made of something definitely not metallic, either plastic or rubber. The base was very heavy and seemed to be quality, but the shade looked cheap. We actually didn't mind that it arrived broken, because it made it easier to send it back and get the refund, instead of having to hem and haw about if we wanted to keep a lamp with a cheap shade that cost over $100. It was very easy and convenient to return, and I was refunded the entire price, including shipping (there was no charge for return shipping).

On a side note, the lamp was packaged in a thin cardboard box with Styrofoam inserts. There didn't seem to be much padding, considering the breakable lampshade inside, and the Styrofoam was the kind that disintegrated into a million minuscule white balls that clung to everything with static. It took a few different times sweeping and vacuuming to get them all up, and even then I'd find a stray white ball here and there. We don't have pets, but if you do, you might want to be careful about how you open the package because the Styrofoam gets everywhere.

Westinghouse #77052 3WY Fan Light Switch Review

This is the ceiling fan light pull switch that is needed to replace an existing three wire switch. This is referred to as a 3-way fan light switch. This switch has four positions with (1) INPUT (BLACK WIRE) & (2) OUTPUTS (RED WIRE & BLUE WIRE). POSITION(1)-OFF, POS(2)-Black-Red, POS(3)-Black-Blue, POS(4)-Black-Blue-Red. Be careful and make sure to disconnect the input power prior to replacing. Here's a tip: Turn the fan on and then turn the wall switch off, if the fan stops turning then it should be safe to proceed. This assumes there is only one wall switch for the ceiling fan/light fixture. Just reuse the existing wire nuts when replacing. My ceiling fan had a blue wire instead of a black wire as the input. I also used my digital camera and took closeup shots prior to replacing. This will save you headaches later on any rewiring or reassembly job.

It is difficult to tell in the photo, but your cabinet pull or handle must not have a span greater than 4 inches (from screw to screw) or you cannot use this. Mine are sleek and contemporary and have a 5 inch span, which obviously doesn't work.

FOOD RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS #102 DRAWER PULLS KNOBS Review

These are very nice accents for our pepper-themed kitchen, but I am a little disappointed. The description says, "Wood - Completely Sealed for Lasting Durability & Shine." That may be true for the front of the knobs, but not the backs. These are wood handles with a "decal" for the pepper design on front. I "assumed" the "completely sealed" meant the whole knob, not just the front. The back of the handle is just painted wood. Normal human oily hands will wear off that paint without an acrylic coating to seal and protect. But, these are just a few days old and nothing has worn off yet, so I might be quick to judge.

American Standard 4205.100.025 Reliant Single-Control Kitchen Faucet with Pull Out Spray, Polished Chrome/White Review

I bought this with an American Standard deep kitchen sink.The installation hit a snag in that the water fittings on this unit did not match my older faucet, so I had to get some adapters.(Note to do-it-yourself people: crawl under ths sink and determine your current fittings before you start looking for new faucets!)

Once I had those, installation was pretty straightforward, as kitchen faucets go, anyway.Since you are going to be working under the sink, (a) WEAR EYE PROTECTION, as Mr. Gravity seems to magically direct the falling detritus straight to your eyes, and (b) put a pillow at the cabinet ledge to preserve your back.It worked for me, anyway.

We've had this installed for about six months now and it has worked reliably for the entire time.The only thing I would note is that the spray control is easy to activate, but requires a minimum flow to stay engaged.A really soft, mild spray does not seem possible, althoughthat's rarely needed and one learns to adjust the flow after a while.

Note that we have the White Heat version of this rather than the chrome.

This meets my expectations and is recommended.Four stars.

The knobs came with everything I needed to quickly switch out the knobs.

I was able to easily personalize the dresser/changing table in my nursery to match the crib bedding set/theme of the room. Everyone who sees my dresser comments on the knobs and how perfect they are to match his room! Measure Pro Template Review

I was very happy with the ease of use in determining where the holes for the knobs and/or cabinet handles should go according to the product.I would highly recommend it.The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is due to the fact that I ultimately decided upon 128mm cabinet hardware.These are European measurements that are fast becoming popular.The product accomodates all standard knobs/handles just not the larger sizes.I still used the product but had to modify it to fit my hardware.Just keep that in mind when purchasing the product. For the price, it's invaluable if you want your knobs to look uniform and professionally done.

KOHLER K-12177-CP Fairfax Single Control Kitchen Sink Faucet, Polished Chrome Review

This faucet got hung up and wouldn't swivel easily (grime in the base).I turned the faucet from the left sink to the right it snapped off at the base.Beneath the stainless steel outside, the structure of the faucet is plastic and that's what snapped.The stainless metal outside is just a facade and isn't structural.

Why can't someone make a solid metal faucet that will last as long as the house?Kohler once meant quality.Not any more.Will never buy Kohler again.

Amerock BP19321-R2 Village Classics Birdcage 2-5/8-Inch Maximum Width Oval Knob, Weathered Brass Review

We placed these on white kitchen cabinets to coordinate with brushed crome appliances. They look great and feel very nice in the hand. The oval shape makes them easier for my older hands to deal with. My only word of warning is that the oval shape somehow highlights any inperfections in the alignment of the screw holes they are attaching too; we had not noticed this with the old brass round knobs.

One reviewer says you get what you pay for:I guess I didn't realize that an upper end price for Lowes or Home Depot means junk.The plastic collar that is supposed to fasten the sprayer to the faucet neck slips out.As far as I can tell there is nothing to hold it in the neck.I just had this installed today.Customer service is closed for the weekend, so I have to wait to see how this turns out.I give it two stars for now as I am hoping there will be a fix.
